If there was any indication that the Wizards would just fold in Game 6, John Wall would tell you otherwise. The Wizards irked out a 92-91 game 6 Victory over the Celtics to force a Game 7. They are also the first team in this post season to force a Game 7 when facing elimination.

The Washington Wizards lead by Bradley Beal (33) and John Wall (26) accounted for 59 of the Wizards 92 points on night where Otto Porter was scoreless from the field. Marcus Morris was the only other Wizard to contribute double digit points.

Bradley Beal finally got his shot going falling one-point shy of his playoff career-high of 34 points. He scored five points in the final 90 seconds to keep the Wizards within striking distance.

Isaiah Thomas scored five big points of his own to put the Celtics up 5 with a minute remaining but had a costly turnover after being trapped in the back court by Wizards defenders.

He finished with 27 points on another poor performance shooting 8-24 and seven assists.

Avery Bradley also scored 27 points on an efficient 10-18 and seems to have found is groove in the last two games with 20+ points in each after struggling initially. The Boston Celtics were asked after the game as to why they wore all black to the arena only to respond that “it was a coincidence”.

So far both teams have held serve on their home courts this season so Boston having a Game 7 in there building could be all the difference.

Game seven is in Boston on Monday night. Tip-off is at 8:00 PM EST on TNT.
